Shiba Inu Metaverse: Shiba Inu Community to Mint Land on SHIB
Instead of only ETH, SHIB holders may now use their tokens to mint land in the Shiba Inu Metaverse.
SHIB purchases for the metaverse have gone live after the feature was promised for the Shiba land auction back in April.
Here's an explanation of what this implies and why it occurred.
SHIB is now accepted in the Shiba Metaverse.
After previously saying that only ETH will be supported in order to avoid future major SHIB sell-offs, the Shiba metaverse's creators modified their decision in response to SHIB community outrage.
Shiba Lands may now be purchased with either SHIB or ETH.
This was announced by the official Shiba Metaverse account, which stated in a video, "You people asked, and we listened." The Shiba Inu squad is a group of Shiba Inu dogs.
The land costs will stay the same in the SHIB equivalent, ranging from 0.2 to 1 ETH. This comes out to about 27.1 million SHIB, with the majority of the remaining land costing 0.2 ETH.
Under the ETH minting area of the SHIB.io website, there is now a button that says "Mint with SHIB."
SHIB jumped from $0.00002054 to $0.00002091 in 30 minutes after the news.
Over 18,700 acres of property have been sold, accounting for slightly more than half of all available acreage. During the $20 million private sales, about 13,000 acres of land were sold. The Shiba metaverse public sale, which opened up the lands to a wider group, first went live on April 23.
The Shiba metaverse will extend to 100,595 lands when the 36,431 lands in the first phase sell out. At the time of writing, 5100 users own land in the Shiba metaverse.
SHIB owners and supporters have responded enthusiastically to the announcement, despite the fact that some SHIB owners had previously expressed unhappiness with SHIB's function in the metaverse at launch.
The Shiba Inu burn portalsite was launched in response to a demand from the ShibArmy for more SHIB burns, and it continues to drive change within the Shiba ecosystem.
