Brazilian Football Team Accepts Shiba Inu Payments For Tickets
S. Paulo FC, a Brazilian football team, has stated that it now takes Shiba Inu payments for tickets.
The club has joined a growing list of businesses that take SHIB, including AMC, after declaring acceptance for cryptocurrencies via BitSo.
Here's a deeper look at the newest SHIB-accepting sports team.
SHIB Accepted By S. Paulo FC
The So Paulo Fan Partner website declared on June 2 that it will take bitcoins through its sponsor, Bitso.
"Fans can now buy tickets for games at Morumbi by paying in cryptocurrency thanks to a collaboration with Bitso, the official sponsor of S. Paulo FC," it stated on Twitter. "Isn't that fantastic?"

Following the announcement, one SHIB holder followed up and confirmed that SHIB will be among those approved by the football club via a Direct Message with the Fan Page account.

So Paulo FC is one of the most distinguished football clubs in the history of Brazil. It has six Brazilian league titles and has produced players like Kaka, Cafu, and Luis Fabiano. Its stadium, the Morumbi, has a capacity of 72,000 spectators.
This is the latest in a long line of businesses and organizations preparing to accept Shiba Inu payments. More locations are adding support for SHIB and other cryptocurrencies as firms like BitPay and NowPayments gain popularity. The community's need is driving this in a major part.
This might coincide with the timing of future prospective Shiba Inu-sports teams/companies collaborations. The sports sector might be SHIB's next objective, with a potential Red Bull relationship and possibly even basketball cooperation in the works.
Whether through formal sponsorships with Napoli and Lazio by Binance and Floki Inu, or the creation of fan tokens, cryptocurrency continues to make inroads into the footballing world.
