Wrapped Luna Holders May Still Receive A Luna 2.0 Airdrop - Here's How
Wrapped Luna holders may have felt worse off when the Luna 2.0 airdrop originally occurred, but WLUNA holders waiting for Luna 2.0 still had hope.
Do Kwon, the creator of Terraform Labs, published a Luna recovery plan following the cryptocurrency's fall. Wrapped Luna, which still follows LUNC, would be left behind as a result of this.
Wrapped Luna owners, on the other hand, may still be able to get their hands on some new Terra Luna despite the Luna 2.0 price drops.
Luna 2.0 Airdrop Wrapped Luna Holders
Wrapped Luna holders might redeem their shares in Luna 2.0, according to Fat Man, an unknown Twitter account dedicated to covering Terra.
The Terra team is now indexing the blockchains, bridges, and wormholes that backed Luna in order to apportion their part of a communal pool, according to Fat Man.
Since I get asked about wLUNA so much, here's an update for everyone. All of these LUNA variants (including Wrapped LUNA Classic on Ethereum) will receive the LUNA 2 airdrop at a later date - Terra devs are currently indexing all of these chains - it's hard work! (1/2) pic.twitter.com/1naeYylFb6

Wrapped Luna was supported by the Ethereum blockchain's Shuttle bridge, thus its holders should potentially be entitled for a part of the airdropped tokens.
The airdrop will be based on snapshot blocks from the initial plan, according to FatMan. As a result, he stressed that purchasing WLUNA would not make consumers eligible for the decrease.
He also downplayed expectations by pointing out that because Coinbase has the majority of the Wrapped Luna, it will be up to the exchange to distribute Luna 2.0. However, Coinbase Luna 2.0 is not supported. Because Wrapped Luna trading has been disabled from Coinbase, it's unclear how this will play out.
"Only Coinbase can determine whether or not to transmit its airdrop onto users," FatMan remarked.
