350cc Motorcycle Sales June 2022 – Classic, Meteor, Bullet, CB350
The iconic Royal Enfield 350 continues to dominate India's sales of 350 cc motorcycles in the month of June 2022. The newest generation Classic 350 was released last year with positive reviews, and in recent months, its sales figures have been very good. Last month, the Classic 350 posted a total of 25,425 units.
This is a YoY positive sales growth of 46.3% when compared to the same time in 2021 with 17,377 units. With 8,645 units sold as opposed to 8,770 during the same time in 2021, the Meteor 350, which has many similarities with the Classic 350, came in second place with a YoY negative sales growth of 1.4%.
The redesigned 349 cc OHC engine in the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 both have a twin cradle frame and can provide a maximum power output of slightly over 20 horsepower and a peak torque of 27 Nm. The forthcoming Bullet 350 will utilize the same setup. On open highways, the next-generation Bullet has already been observed testing a few times.

The Classic and Meteor will also share foundations with the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which is expected to be the most inexpensive RE model ever with a starting price of about Rs. 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bullet 350 sold 5,893 units domestically last month, compared to 5,317 units during the same period in 2021.
The Electra ended in fourth place with a total of 4,363 units as opposed to 3,137 units during the same time the previous year with a YoY volume spike of 39% as a consequence, resulting in a YoY sales increase of 10.8%. With 2,120 units sold as opposed to 1,853 units in June 2021, the Honda CB350 came in fifth place.
As a result, volume increased by 14.4% year over year. The Himalayan 450, a trio of 650 cc bikes, and other models are among the plethora of new motorcycles that RE is developing in order to further solidify its position in the 350-650 cc market.
