Mahindra reported 26,640 unit sales in June 2022 compared to 16,636 units, representing a 60.1% YoY rise.
In June 2022, Mahindra & Mahindra sold a total of 26,640 domestic units, up from 16,636 during the same period in the previous year. This is a YoY volume increase of 60.1%. This resulted in an almost flat MoM increase when compared to the same time the previous month, when 26,650 units were sold.
The domestic SUV expert was able to finish fourth in the overall sales standings with a market share of 8.3% versus 6.5 percent and a YoY rise of 1.8%. The Mahindra Bolero was the brand's most popular model in the domestic market, with sales of 7,884 units compared to 5,744 units in June 2021.
Sales of the Mahindra XUV700 reached 6,022 units in total last month, indicating some loosening of manufacturing restrictions. However, there is a very long waiting list for several types of the XUV700 and Thar. Early in the next year, the XUV300 compact SUV is anticipated to receive a redesign. In the last month, it sold 4,754 units.

A YoY volume gain of 3% was recorded when compared to the 4,615 units sold during the same time in 2021. The Scorpio managed 4,131 units overall, down from 4,160 units in June 2021 and representing a YoY sales rise of 1%. Sales of the Thar lifestyle off-roader increased last month to 3,640 units from 1,065 units during the same time in 2021.
While the Marazzo MPV registered 124 units compared to 402 units in June 2021 with a YoY negative sales rise of 69%, the second-generation Thar scored a YoY sales surge of 242%. With a YoY increase of 306%, the Alturas G4 registered a total of 65 units compared to 16 units during the same time last year.
With 20 sales, the Mahindra e-Verito electric car came in last. A trio of electric vehicle ideas is expected to be unveiled by the firm in the middle of next month. The production-spec XUV400 is expected to make its public debut in September 2022 and will compete with the Tata Nexon EV.
