With the release of the Seltos, Kia made its Indian debut and has since been fiercely challenging its rivals. After releasing this new model in the South Korean market at a starting price of 20.62 million Won, the Korean automaker is now prepared to offer the Kia Seltos facelift in India (approx INR 12.57 lakh). Numerous aesthetic improvements offer the new Kia Seltos a more modern road presence. These include a redesigned front grille, a new front fascia with new headlamps, and a fake skid plate. Additionally, some minor tweaks are also seen in the front bumper.

The side appearance is substantially unchanged, but the alloy wheels have been modified. The car's rear now has new tail lights and a redesigned bumper. Overall, these modifications have given the Kia Seltos a new look, and the SUV still exudes an aggressive and dynamic presence on the road.

The SUV's inside has seen a few small tweaks as well, and purchasers can now select between an all-black and caramel color scheme. Additionally, purchasers have the option of selecting a midnight green interior color scheme that is exclusively offered with the Gravity model. Despite this, the Seltos continues to provide all the features and bells and whistles and is one of the most feature-rich offerings in the segment.

Similar engine options are anticipated for the forthcoming 2022 Kia Seltos in India. There are three of these: a 1.5L NA gasoline, a 1.4L turbo gasoline, and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The available gearbox selections will also not change from the current version.

The installation of ADAS will make the Kia Seltos the first Kia vehicle in India to have ADAS, and it will be the main attraction of this new version. Adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and prevention, front collision avoidance aid, etc. are some of the most noticeable LEVEL 2 ADAS capabilities.

The new Seltos will compete against rivals like the Hyundai Creta, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc. if it is introduced in India.
