For the domestic market, Tata Motors is presently working on an upgraded version of the Safari. Early in 2021, the domestic car giant debuted the Safari, which has gotten largely favorable reviews from consumers. It is essentially a six- and seven-seater version of the midsize Harrier SUV and is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbodiesel engine from Fiat.

The 2022 Tata Safari has already begun to appear in spy photos online, and they show a small external alteration. The tri-arrow grille on the front fascia has been modified, and accent rectangular components in silver have taken its place. The adjustment harmonizes the Harrier and Safari. This time, the bumper insert at the back is completed in black.

While the Safari competes against three-row SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus in the Indian market, the Harrier fights against a number of mid-size SUVs. Safari will acquire a lot of important features and technologies to compete with its rivals as a result of growing rivalry and manufacturers upgrading one after the other.

The Alcazar is slated to debut in India next year, while the Hector is getting ready for a makeover as soon as possible. Both vehicles will include ADAS-based driver assistance and safety features. A bigger touchscreen infotainment system and more sophisticated IRA-based connection options are scheduled to be added to the Tata Safari in 2022.

Additionally, there is a good probability that the vehicle will include a 360-degree video system, and the test prototype reveals that the cameras were installed on the outside rearview mirrors. Another important piece of technology that is anticipated is ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which is likely to include features like cross-traffic warning, lane maintain assistance, autonomous emergency braking, and blind spot detection.

The Safari would be the first Tata passenger vehicle to have ADAS if it were to be added. Long-standing rumors also suggest a brand-new gasoline engine, but we'll have to wait and see what really occurs.
