New features for the Honda Activa Premium are anticipated to include Bluetooth connection, a new matte green color, and a new set of alloy wheels.
The Activa Premium has once again been teased, revealing its name, and will soon be available on the local market in India from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter. The impending scooter, which was once assumed to be the seventh generation Activa, now seems to be a new top-end model of the hugely successful Activa series with extra features because a new generation may be some ways off.
We may infer from the teaser photographs that the Honda Activa Premium won't undergo any significant design changes other from the addition of a new color scheme. The Activa Premium's general silhouette stays the same, and the fake air vents on the front apron can also be seen without changes in a teaser image.
Golden highlights are included with the Honda Activa Premium, including the Honda emblem on the front apron and the false air vents themselves. A new matte green exterior body color that complements the golden-colored finishes is more likely. The front and rear alloy wheels of the forthcoming variation could replace the existing steel wheels from the current model.
The Japanese manufacturer may provide that specific facility and application-based functions may also be offered when more scooters choose to add Bluetooth-enabled instrument clusters, but there has been no official confirmation of this as of yet. Remember that the Dio scooter only recently acquired a new limited edition dubbed Dio Sports for a price of Rs. 68,317 (ex-showroom).
The new scooter won't likely undergo any mechanical modifications, and its dimensions will remain unchanged from those of the standard Activa. At the time of writing, it is available in the following color combinations: Matte Mature Brown, Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Magnificent Copper Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue, Red Rebel Metallic, and Black.
Performance-wise, the current 110 ccs single-cylinder air-cooled engine will maintain its maximum power output of 7.68 bhp and peak torque of 8.79 Nm.
