The new Honda Fit (Honda Jazz) e: HEV, which now sports many aesthetic upgrades, a new sporty trim, and a more potent hybrid powertrain, was just presented by Honda in Japan. The 2019 Honda Fit generation debuted and quickly became one of the most popular hybrid vehicles in its category. Here is all the information you want on the updated Honda Fit.

In the fall of 2022, a facelifted version of the Honda Fit will be released, with a redesigned lineup of variants. Honda Fit trims now come in Basic, Home, Lux, Crossstar, and RS varieties. While the facelift model now receives various design improvements, the RS trim delivers a major visual upgrade to set itself apart from the standard.

The new Fit RS, for example, has a more assertive front grille with large LED projector lighting on each end. In addition to this, the bumper's bottom has a new gloss black trim with sharp cuts and an RS emblem on the left. The sides and back have received the same gloss black coating.

A sporty leather steering wheel with contrast stitching, a new deceleration selection in the shape of pedals affixed to the steering wheel, and a new drive mode selector are all included within the new RS model. The dashboard arrangement, on the other hand, is unchanged and receives a 9-inch infotainment system in the middle of a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

On the subject of safety, the Honda Fit is still available with Honda Sensing ADAS as a part of the base package. A 1.5L gasoline engine and two motors are part of the hybrid powertrain of the new Honda Fit e: HEV. The total power output of this unit is 107 hp, while the maximum torque is 253 Nm.

Along with these options, the Honda Fit is also offered in ICE and AWD models. The Honda Fit (Honda Jazz) of this generation has not yet been introduced by the Japanese automaker in the Indian market.
