The new generation Innova, which Toyota is rumored to be developing, may coexist with the current model sold in India under the name Innova Crysta. The seven-seater MPV is a very popular vehicle for the company both domestically and in many other countries. Additionally, the third-generation model might use the Innova HyCross brand, which has already been registered in India.

The Innova HyCross might be utilized for our local market given that the soon-to-be-released Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder got its name trademarked in India and it resonates with the hybrid nature of the SUV. According to a recently published online story, Southeast Asia will host Innova's launch later this year.

It will purportedly go under the name "Innova Zenix," however according to earlier Innova Kijang claims in the media, that name will be used instead. Toyota Motor Corporation from Japan filed this name in 2020 at the PDKI Kemenkumham, and Otodriver previously claimed that the Innova Zenix moniker will be used for all variations of the car (hybrid and non-hybrid).

The next-generation Toyota Innova Hybrid is anticipated to debut in India early in 2019. The Fortuner and the Hilux both share the IMV2 ladder frame, which supports the current Innova Crysta. However, as it could be built on the TNGA-C modular monocoque design, the future MPV would probably choose a more conventional front-wheel-drive arrangement.

The vehicle, code-named 560B, maybe around 4.7 meters long overall, but depending on how the new platform is constructed, it may have a longer wheelbase and a larger cabin. Additionally, because to the new platform, it will probably be lighter and have superior handling qualities than the Innova Crysta.

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with hybrid technology will probably be used under the hood, and a twin electric motor system may be used to increase fuel economy. With the newest Toyota Safety Sense system installed, the interior will also be more modern.
