Mahindra has once more teased the Born Electric line by revealing a sneak peek at the technology and amenities that would be offered, after the news that it will present five electric vehicle ideas on August 15, 2022. On July 4 at 5 PM IST, the future-looking electric vehicles will have their world debut.

They will be made public in Oxfordshire, England. Through a new user interface on the horizontally oriented large touchscreen infotainment system, which Mahindra refers to as "Multi-sensory experiences," the user can customize their vehicle by adjusting the seat to suit the driver's needs with various degrees of reclination, controlling the climate, setting their preferred music, and adjusting ambient lighting.

Mahindra has provided us with a look of the general user interface (UI) design, and the inside will certainly require fewer physical buttons because the majority of operations will be accomplished by touch input, which will also enable Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Previous teasers suggest the inside would have a dual infotainment screen, similar to the one in the XUV700 but done in a more contemporary manner.

The ambient lighting system will highlight the wraparound design surrounding the driver's cockpit, and thanks to the simple design, the air conditioning vents are buried in the dashboard. The center console is logically laid out and may have a rotary dial for the driving modes and a drive selector, along with ADAS technology.

There will also be a panoramic sunroof and a steering wheel with two hexagonal-shaped spokes. The 'Born Electric' SUVs are being developed by the Oxfordshire-based Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE), under the direction of Mahindra Chief Designer Pratap Bose. We do anticipate that one of the five designs will be the electric XUV700.

The smallest of the ideas, the Mahindra XUV400, an electric compact SUV based on the XUV300 to compete with models like the Tata Nexon EV, will primarily have a coupe-like roofline. Additionally, the teasers showed off sleek body panels, LED lighting strip, C-shaped headlights, and taillamps.
