Early next month, Toyota Hyryder mild-hybrid variant prices will be released; the top four grades are currently available.
According to our sources, Toyota will release the pricing for the remaining Urban Cruiser Hyryder mild-hybrid models somewhere in the first half of October. Prices for the top-spec mild-hybrid automatic variant (Rs 17.09 lakh) and the strong-hybrid variants (Rs 15.11 lakh–18.99 lakh) were released earlier this month.
On September 26, Maruti Suzuki will reveal the Grand Vitara's pricing, followed by the Toyota Hyryder's price release.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: mild-hybrid powertrain
Mild hybrid versions of the Hyryder will be powered by the Brezza, XL6, and Ertiga's 1.5-liter K15C engine from Maruti Suzuki. The 103 horsepower and 137 Nm torque "Neo Drive" motor is mated to either a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox.
AWD will be an additional option for the top-spec mild hybrid model with manual transmission. The AWD system has four settings, Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock, as well as hill-descent control, and it is based on Suzuki's AllGrip Select.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: design
Strong hybrids may be distinguished from mild hybrids by having "Hybrid" emblems on the doors and tailgate, despite the fact that both models appear essentially the same. The Hyryder's dashboard shares a layout with other recent vehicles including the Toyota Glanza and Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Brezza. Toyota chose an all-black interior motif for its mild-hybrid models while going with a black and brown theme for its strong-hybrid models.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: trims and features
The strong-hybrid powertrain is only offered in the S, G and V trims, whilst the mild-hybrid powertrain will be offered in four trims: E, S, G, and V. As previously indicated, the mild-hybrid V manual version of the Hyryder is the only one with the AWD system.
